Ok sure I got the angles right on a stihl rapid chisel chain but they call for a 13 64ths file and I have a 7 32nds what do you think my opinion it gets the whole tooth better
 
They both will work but after I switched to 13/64 I seemed it did a better job and stayed sharp longer. But that may just be my imagination.
 
I probably would pick up a 13/64 sometime if that is what Stihl recommends and I was going to continue to use there chain. Stihl probably knows what works best on there chain. Hope this helps.
 
Well I sharpened mine with a 7/32 since I have a box of twelve and I don't have one 13/64 hopefully it will be ok if not I will have to get some 13/64
 
I use 7/32" on all of it. If you need more hook like the 13/64" gives then go a little lower into the gullet. :msp_wink:
