Spider living where I want to stack some wood

i agree w/ others who suggested to move it. no need to kill a spider (didn't you read charlotte's web?). they do a great job of killing annoying insects. most times i just simply knock down their web if it's in a bad spot. if you absolutely didn't want a spider at a particular spot, some farmers around here spray permethrin on the wood. this seems to keep the spiders from simply climbing back up and rebuilding.
 
Cant say what it is.

But if I saw this one I would chase it down until it was dead and I had proof.

The way I look at it, I learn what the worst of the worst spiders look like and forget about the rest.
Kind of like cats their are good cats and bad cats. I allow them in my barn and out buildings as long as their fixed and dont stink the place up.
I have no rats. Spiders I let them hang out and duck under their webs.

From what I see of your spider I would let it be.
