Sure. This should not be hard to find. Take the clutch cover and bar off (you might want to take the rewind off if you feel it could be coming from that area also), clean the saw of all the oil present, and top off the oil tank. Now go get a trash bag, a folding chair, and several beers. You on the chair, saw on the trash bag. Sit, drink beer, and watch.

We could all take bets and speculate, but there's no substitute for just giving it a really good look see. If we were betting.. I'm thinking worn oiler, oiler to case gasket, or the big ugly, a cracked tank. You'd prolly know if you whacked it that hard, though.

Edit: If you see it pizzling from under your clutch bell, you'll need to remove it and the clutch to get a better look. Get back to us if you need to do this.

There is a passage that the oil travels up to the bar that makes a 90 below the muffler. There should be a little red plug in that turn. Make sure it or something is there. :cheers:
 
Pull the sprocket drum then remove the clutch (left hand thread). Look at the suction line to the pump. The clutch may have nicked it or it may be cracked due to age. It's not too hard to swap out. Do yourself a favor and go to the "beg for manuals thread" and ask for the shop manual.
 
If you need to take a look at the oil pump it is not hard to do. You will need a piston stop, or something like a 3/8" piece of nylon rope. Take of the e-clip off the clutch drum, remove the drum and the bearing.

You should now be looking at the clutch. It is left hand threads so remember that. Insert the rope into the cylinder (or preferably the piston stop). Turn the clutch till the rope tops out against the piston in the cylinder. Break the clutch loose, then spin it free.

Now you'll be looking dead at the oil pump. You can see the line coming up from the bottom of the case, and the o-ringed nipple above it that hooks into the case. You can easily inspect all of these from this position. While it is apart I'd give it a good cleaning as well. Hope you find your problem. Keep us posted. Thanks!
