Stihl 029 wont stay running

I can start it up with choke on and keep it running by feathering the choke but otherwise it wont stay running. It sat for a couple months and Ive cleaned the carb. Need a carb rebuild(diaphrams etc.)kit?

Check the fuel hose and filter as well as the impulse hose.

yep.. 50:50 chance it's the fuel line - cracked right above the tank.

It is easier to change out with the carb off, and you should go through it while you are at it.
