Stihl 064 yr model?

I just disassembled and cleaned up the ole 064 the other day for rebuild. We (dad & I) are gonna build it with an 066 cylinder kit. I noticed the 064 cyl. jug & flywheel had 89 stamped on them so I was wondering if that meant 1989 was the production yr. I have used my buddy's 66 & 660 quite a bit and we are excited about fixing this one up!

The only way to tell the year of manufacturer is if the saw was registered with Stihl when it was bought new, a dealer can run the serial number to find out.
