Stihl 180 bogs

I have a Stihl 180 that runs WOT when held sideways, but when held upright bogs down and sometimes dies? Took carb off today and cleaned. Same problem? What could this be?

Cracked fuel line would be my guess. If you hold the saw in the right position the weight of the fuel filter will move the hose enough to close the crack.

Yes, likely the fuel line. Cracked or overly soft and gummy.

Checked the fuel line, no holes that I could find. Ordered a new carb off of amazon.....see if that does it?

Installed a new carb and the saw runs great!
