Stihl 52mm 1128 cylinder w/ no decomp?

Did the 046 come with no decomp? I have never seen one. I have this cylinder and it measures 52mm and is labeled 1128. Can someone help me ID it?

That is a 10 mm pin 044 cylinder from an early model 044.

Never. I have a first production month 046. They have always had a decomp.

I will try to take a better picture. If it is aftermarket it is the best quality I have ever seen. The port look like the best Mahle cast and bevel.

What's the bolt pattern? 044 or 046?

Brad, that is a good point. It is an 044 pattern as you can see in the side by side picture.

Has anyone ever had a Stihl cylinder bored and replated? I wonder how this cylinder would run on an old 440 frankensaw that I built?
