Stihl MS 211 case repair.

Hello all, did a case repair on a Stihl MS 211 yesterday, 2-8-18. The bottom support for the handle was broken off. So made these aluminum plate brackets to fit the inside of the chainsaw case, bolted them in to hold the handle in its proper location. Worked well. Saved the customer money not having to buy a new case.

the ms171, 181, and 211 are pretty much the same saw....

The engine housing part # is
1139 020 3003

for all 3 saws.

Good information, thanks Harley. I really need to see how serious this guy is about getting spare parts. He might have just been talking through his hat. He’s not answering his cell.

No, the ms231 and ms251 are siblings Then ms271/ms291.
