Really? My 261c and 362c aren't German made...

The 260, 261, 361, and 362 pro saws were also made in the US. Easy to tell: if the serial number begins with a 1, its German made. If it begins with a 2, its US made. Also they start with a 3 for Brazil, and 4 for China. They also still make some pro saws in Brazil, like the 361 and 381.

Here is one of my 661's, I have 3 in total, (one I use daily, others for back up in camp) ported, better dogs.
I love these saws, smooth and powerful once they've been worked over a bit.

If they stay together during the next 6 months, only time will tell.

not available till march 1st down under prices have gone up too for this year... a 660 is $2199 i would be tipping a 661 will be 50 to 100 more.. just because they can. it has Mtronic now!
