Stihl MS200 rear handle find

Picked this up off kijiji for $100 a while back. Looked more or less clean but the piston was scored, missing air filter filter, cover, and clutch cover.

Remembered to take some before pics for once.


Saw looks pretty low use. Only visible imperfection is a small chunk out of the rear handle.

Thankfully the top end was in pretty good shape. Transfer cleaned up well, so a new meteor piston it got.

Here it is all finished. Leak tested and fired it up, runs like a dream. Won't be able to throw real wood at it until the snow disappears, but I think I like this thing, very light and nimble.



I think this makes a pretty good 2 saw plan, may need to hang on to this one.

How's this go, YOU SUCK! lol. But seriously, looks slick, especially with the purdy new plastic. Would much rather have that over my 017.
