Stihl Ms200 Starting Problems

Hi, new member looking for advice. I've been given a stihl ms200 saw that starts on the choke, then onto half choke, then runs when you rev it for about a minute, Then it stalls seems like not enough fuel getting in, but then starts again straight away on full choke and does the same. Any ideas as its a good little saw and i want to get it going without making the 50 mile trip to my neasest service centre.

first place I would look is the pulse hose being disconnected.

Maybe the gas tank vent is clogged, or an air leak somewhere, or some dirt in the carb. These saws are hard to work on.
