What year did Stihl start switching the chainsaw designations from 0xx to the MSxxx? I am seeing a lot of saws on Craig's List but most of them are the older 026's and such. People are asking, what I feel, is a little too much for an old saw. One guy is asking $250 for an 026, but the saw looks very used. Just trying to counter offer him with something that is fair. For $250, I would just spend the extra money and buy new.

I believe it was 2001 or 2002.

If it was in really nice shape I'd go 250$ but in typical used shape 150$-175$ is more on par with reality.
