Stove pipe thermometer

I am currently installing an Englander add on furnace and went with Dura vent double wall stove pipe for clearance reasons. In reading a lot of your posts a stove pipe thermometer is highly recommended to monitor flue temps.My problem is being double wall, do they make a thermometer that can be used, since a magnetic one on the outside wall obviously would not work.

i am wondering the same thing since my pipe is double wall also due to washington codes for manufactured home installation.

Note that both customer reviews are very good, but one cautions to drill hole slightly smaller than instructions for better fit
