Sharpened a chain last week that had full chisel on one side and round on the other side. Example, every other tooth was square chisel. It cut ok. anyone else had problems like this???
other than a few strange ones, I use all stihl chain.

or someone had a lot of spare time and a box of parts... and even if that was true, I can't image it would cut straight.

Will try to get a pic. the chain was on a saw at a friends who lives 8 hours away. it was stamped "Stihl" on all cutters, and no it was not dull or had chipped teeth. I bought a loop once from the local dealer that had about a 6" section of different style teeth, but never every other tooth different.

Here is a pic, took it to a local dealer, he said it was a manufacture defect. dealer kept the chain, said he had never seen anything like that. gave me a free new chain:clap:   would have liked to have kept the loop just for kicks:cry:
