Thanks SawTroll, I'm learning that myself. :D Seems those bars are built pretty well, but it's almost as if they're shrouded in secrecy

It isn't really an issue, as long as you need bars with large Husky, medium Stihl or small Husky mounts.

However, there are issues with the Sugihara combi mounts (SV and AT).

Issues? I'm guessing you're referring to the combination mount bars? As in multiple brands/models? What kind of issues SawTroll? And Thanks for your time.

The adapters that come with the SV mount have repeatedly been reported to not work well on some saws with the large Husky mount, and the combination K095/K041 mount (AT) causes oil spillage issues on some saws with the K095 mount, most notably the Husky saws with captive bar nuts.

Thanks SawTroll!!!! That, I did not know about!!!

The spring type spacers are designed to ONLY work with the Stihl bar... they are NOT designed to work with the large or small Husky mount bar. I want to make sure your not confused. And you can't put the Stihl bar on a small husky saw. You can't use a large Husky bar and spacers to fit a small mount saw.

Large mount Husky fits a large mount saw... and only that mount. I don't know the numbers off the top of my head. With the correct colored spacers, the Stihl mount will fit a large Husky mount saw. You can't use the spacers on a large mount husky bar, it won't work.

With the correct colored spacers, the Stihl bar will fit various other saws... I have a sheet that gives the exact colored spacer to which saw. I'll try to get it converted to some data form to work with HTML formatting or attach it here and on the Weedeaterman site.

Small Husky mount is K095. Used to be A041 as well, being dropped for the K095 only mount.... they don't think the combo A041/K095 is worth carrying anymore. The small mount (AT style) will only fit small mount Husky and only that mount and any saw that utilizes that mount. You can't use any spacers to make it fit anything else.... and you may have a small amount of oil leakage as well, but they feel the fitment will provide enough oil to the chain to prevent any undue damage or wear. I'd like to hear if someone has any to report and feed that back to them.

I'm working on formatting the list. Hope this clears it up... what the spacers will do... work on a Stihl bar only.

The leak on my 550xp is minimal and not really an issue
