I've expressed the sentiment in the not so distant past that Stihl does not make a man's saw. Well, here's your chance to prove me wrong. I will take up donations to support the Stihl cause, and with each donation I will accept a vote for which Stihl saw is a man's saw. Once sufficient donations have been collected to purchase the winning saw, I will test the claim of the consensus.

Until that time, I will take as fact that Stihl only makes a lilly livered girly man's saw.

Here you go fellas, put your money where your mouth is. :)

Ooh, wow, $100. Surely you have an opinion? If not, I'll substitute my own vote. :)

:monkey:........Again, I asked a question.

When was the last time you ran a chainsaw? Not just fire one up and let her purr, but acutally went to the woods to cut something, or even cut a tree down, or for that matter, cut a limb that fell in your yard?

not even a Stihl head

If you can hold my weed eater engine HT-75 pole saw up very long fully extended and get the job done without sticking in a tree, I would call you a man, I can run the 25 # Poulan 5400 longer bucking; I can brace the big saws back to legs.

girly saw

I'm a Stihl fan, but I have to agree with space,(sorta). Stihl makes such a well balanced, good feeling, powerful, easy to use saw, that will last like an Army BLk, that it has caused my 13 year old daughter to become addicted to 046 Magnums. :jawdrop:

Stihls main problem today is that Husky bought Zenoah (Redmax), and Stihl missed the opportunity - they are going to suffer from that....:greenchainsaw:

BS. Seems they didn't decide to use much other than some EPA credits from Redmax. Unless the husky rep was lying, LOL. Either way, going to take much more than that to get to Stihl's level.

Now I KNOW a Stihl zealot as big as 2000 is going to be put down for at least $300, am I right or am I right?
