A dremel works just fine for sharpening chains. I've never had a problem.

So what some of you are saying is not to grind? Better tell all the chain makers.
If a Dremel has ever wrecked a chain, it isn't the Dremel, it can only be the operator.
Some folks can wreck an anvil with a tack hammer. I would think it woiuld be great for custom chain work short of a tool&cutter grinder like a Cincinatti Milacron.
