OK, pretty sure this is a non-suckworthy 'score', but a little info would be appreciated..
Old craftsman 3.7. Came with original case, burned up Oregon 20" bar, brand new Carlton laminated 20" bar (in .325 though, not 3/8..:bang:), 2 almost used up Stihl loops.
Luckily I have a pro/am 20" laying around in 3/8 that fits.
I know it's 60cc, but thats about all.
Is it made by Poulan?
Gas tank threads are pretty weak (leaks and cant get very tight), and won't idle right now, but at least had it running on some fresh mix.
Blowing 145lbs, and P&C look good thru the exhaust.
Muffler sounds great right now, I'm sure would be better with a MM.
Was really cheap, about all that's in its favor at the moment.

Definitely needs some TLC. Starter only intermittently engages. Clutch seems to engage high.
Has a sticker saying powersharp on it.. Did these have a built in sharpener?? Its all missing except the hole where it was.

I remember back in my younger years that Sears called it a Barracuda chain. Really hyped it up. Read elsewhere on here that to run a regular chain that the sharpener needed to be removed however I have one that runs a regular chain just fine. But you don't dare use the sharpening device. Ruin the chain in a heartbeat I guess. Now it is brought back and called a power sharp.
Really cool find though and all finds count. You suck. Congrats.

So it's a decent saw? If I didn't have to be up for work at 2AM I'd tear into it some tonite...

The Poulan 3700 is a good saw. I have 5 of them, three in red and two in grey. Decent anti-vibe and the parts interchange with the 3400 series as well. The first new saw I bought was a 3400 in the early 80's.

I rebuilt one, and like it. Ran a 24" on it once for a coupld stump cuts, and it pulled it. 20 or 18" on it and it shines. I opened the muffler and the air filter cover. (you can buy a slitted cover) I have fun buying some old ones and fixing them up......but the real joy for me is running what I put together.View attachment 292477
