Sure its heavy, but the real problem is the power. I'm starting to use it more and more and it is feeling lighter and lighter. But when I go to the 461 it feels like a toy, and cuts painfuly slow. I can't see bucking branches with the 880, but felling and bucking to length, the MS880 is going to be used quite a bit more.

The 461 is in the middle now. The jack knife of the three. Amazing by itself, but nothing can compare with the 880. If I HAD to sell either the 261, 461, or the 880, I'd have a rear problem diciding which.

At 50% more displacement, it’s no surprise it has more power than your 461. You seem to have a great 3 saw plan there. Don’t think that can be improved exc possibly swapping out the 461 for a 462. Once you run a good 462, you might even want to eliminate the 261.

Dont get me wrong. The 461 should have more grunt than the 462, but seems like you’ve got the grunt part covered. Personally use my 261 and 462 for 95% of my cutting. Anything over 28” and the 395/3120 come out to play.

I bet that puppy goes through some fuel ... I'm always stunned by how much fuel my 660 drinks. "I just mixed up that gallon of fuel yesterday!"
Seems like it goes through fuel about 3X as fast as my 361.

The weight of the MS880 is a load. Here is mine.
