Man, that seems like a lot of improvisation to avoid coming up with a jig. Good job, though.

All the same, I'll stick with my Alaskan.
 
Did anyone notice the way he was holding that saw?

I'd hate for that sucker to kick-back with two hands on the rear handle... ESPECIALLY while basically plunge cutting the whole time!

A jig of somekind would do wonders. And as far as safety, well, that's how they do it South of the Border. I don't disagree with you, it would be a crazy kickback. They are using the attack area on the bar, but...

What wood be awesome for them would be a woods port on that semi old school Stihl. It would probably cut their production time a 1/3!!!
