I have about 30 of these and last year after a bad storm (straight line winds) it blew the tops off 7 or 8 of them. Most of them are about 30" + diameter at the bottom. My question is first off what kind of tree is it and my second question is are they worth sawing for my own use for wood sheds and things like that??? And are they going to be real sappy?

Norway Spruce???

Oh one more thing they are located in Western Pa.
