Same chain for all cuts.

880 - Stihl RS .404 123dl
661 - shortened down to 117dl

880 - 8pin

Conclusion -

Think the TM880 is great for 41" and longer or a milling saw. Puts out a metric **** ton of torque! ...and bar oil!

Think the TM661 can get it done at 41". Have to clear the bar after each cut, to re-oil it. It's at the limit at 41". My personal setup is this 41" with .404 Full skip.

I really dislike this RedBull guy. He does all this testing and then puts the parts up for sale and I have truck registration, I need to buy new tires, and of course there are property taxes due. If I do buy something from you RB please use the money to buy some Viking slip on chainsaw boots to replace the tenny runners you're always wearing.

Good tests BTW.
