Tuning question

Hello all in have been working on turning a few saws and learning how to do it. I have one turned pretty good in think but It seem to break up in the cut. It runs good and stays at.full power but the exhaust breaks up a little like a extra crackle

That sounds strange. You might want to have somebody video record you running it while this is happening and then post it. Might get you some answers pretty quick. Could be a broken baffle in the muffler, rakers set too agressive on the chain, or something loose. Hard to say without seeing it.

Is it the "4-stroking" sound of being just a tad rich? It should do it more so out of the cut if that's what it is.

If it sounds like this one it could be a little rich. The second video I leaned it out a little and it cleared up.
