Use of Stihl Flippy Caps for Dummies

ive never had problems with the caps on my 290 but on my dads km110 brushcutter the cap NEVER goes on properly.

Any advice for making those flippy caps easier to use especially the one on the chain oil supply. I know there is a little pointer to line up but I seem to have trouble finding it when I have not used the saw for awhile.

If you find yourself fighting with the cap then you have it in the lock position.
Some believe that overfilling the oil causes the problem resulting in the hydraulic effect, but I haven’t found this to be true.

I had never even seen the flippy caps until I got my 261. I've never had one single issue with the ones on my saw. I actually thought they were the best caps I've ever used.
