Walbro HD-50 Carb on MS 460?

I have an almost new HD-50 carb off a MS-461 and want to put it on an MS 460. The IPL doesn’t call for that carb on a 460. I don’t have the old one off the 460 to compare it to but it looks the same I think.

Try it and see what happens. If the linkages and everything else lines up, run it like you stole it!

I heard you have to swap the choke shaft.
