Now open it up
Looked ok I have a complete kit. AND
I should have had 2 Welch plugs
A Circuit plate What is this and what do I do?
What would you do ?
Poulan Pro 655BP.
Saw ran strong but sometimes would sound off
L was out 1 turn
H was out 2 turns
So I got a kit .

Here is a couple of different circuit plates, some carbs have them, many don't. Same goes for welch plugs.

So I got a kit .

Take the cover off of the other side of the carb, and remove the needle/lever/spring, and look through that passage
to the screen on the other side, it is likely partially clogged.

This is the PDF file I found for SDC . Same as you'r post No circuit plate. the screen fell out when i pulled the covers off.
So if all the metering diaphragm and pump match up dunk it in the parts cleaner run 2 cycles and put it back together and try it.
My thoughts were it must be some kind of hybrid but together from old parts
