Wards PowerKraft Ignition...

Got a bud who got this cool little saw form his FIL... A Wards (Not Montgomery Wards) Power Kraft 4.8 c.i. saw. 16" bar on it.

The saw has no spark... so he would like to get a new or used ignition in working order.

The pics I have attached are not of his saw... just for reference...

Any body got a line on somethin'?

Hey Gary-

Those saws had the Power Products AH-47 engine...the ignition on those is a pretty standard deal. It's most likely in need of a condenser or clean points/new points...

Good deal Jacob... I figured it would be a fairly common part. If it's just the condenser... that's even better yet.

Yeah, I believe the whole set-up is Wico...used on a wide variety of small industrial-application engines...condensers for those on e-bay routinely go for $2-3...
