A friend of mine was an underwater welder and they had saws like that so they could be used under the water to clear debris at locks, dams, and chemical plants.

Are you sure its pneumatic not hydraulic?I have sold a few, that looked similar to that, made by/sold by Stanley, that were hydraulic. They bled a small amount of hydraulic fluid off, to lube the bar and chain.I do not see an oil tank on that saw?

Correction, hydraulic saws have a 2 line connection at the handle,so it probably is an air saw.

I just think it's wrong to call any saw a weirdo, the saw can't help it. Please try and be more sensitive in the future, labeling people and things may cause sever traumatic damage in the future.
With one supply line I gotta go with air too. Did you try it?
