I just started looking to buy a bucket truck for tree service, and was wonder if anyone had good advice on what to look for and what to stay away from. I'm leaning towards the forestry truck with a chip box, and probaly a 60' boom. I think I would perfer diesel but then I hear gas and a pony motor is a good setup also, but I think my biggest concern is the boom, what should a person be aware of when shopping. I would like to find something for under $35000. Any suggestion on good equipment, I'm in minnesota. Thanks for any info. also looking for a chipper.
