What do you all use for kindling?

Cedar siding. I do remodeling and home improvements, and for the last 3 years I've had enough of the old cedar siding to last me. It's already in thin sheets - I cut it to length, and then have the kids split it into strips with little hatchets. They love to do it. Well, the younger ones do. Might have enough for one more year.

Thought I might try some pine noodles one of these days. Just grab a few pine rounds, and noodle them up into a couple 55-gal plastic bags, and grab a handfull each time.
 
Last summer I made some noodles up from pine rounds. I didn't think much about them till heating season. After throwing in two handfuls and seeing how flammable they are, I moved the bushel basket over to the other side of the garage because they burn almost scary. One spark would make them go up.

I usually used a littel crank oil and paper, but it wasn't neccessary with the pine noodles.
