What is a "fast" bar?

These bars were built to Cliff Helsel's specs. Saw was fast, chain was fast, bar did it's job and operator was slow as heII.

...they probably mean a bar with belly, that is, a bar with a pronounced curve rather than a straight bar. ... Bars with a lot of belly keep the chain on better. You find this on some very long bars as well, for the same reason.

16" on a 90cc saw??? You are sorely misinformed my friend. In Europe, 16" is 120cc territory

That's the standard for stihl here, huskys are fitted larger bars!

A bar connected to a fast saw with a fast cutting chain is usually a fast bar and vise versa.
