what kind of oil

50:1 as for the types of oil visit the stihl website and look up 2 stroke oil and they give you a brief explanation on them or do a search on here for types of oil, you would read for days.

I only use STIHL HP Ultra at 50:1. It's the cleanest burning oil that I have ever used and I've used several different brands.

Stihl Ultra is good goo. At 50:1, I run it in all my 2 stroke stuff.
