I just buy Itasca by the gallon for $6.99 and use a little diesel to thin it for the winter. I don't see the point in spending a lot of money for something slung off the end of the bar.

Use it 'as is' both summer and winter.

Don't use Stihl (too expensive) and don't use Menard's (too thin) .... everything else bought on sale. I usually stock up in February at Tractor Supply.

I have used poulan, wal-mart/super-tech, and Stihl. Bailey's had a free shipping deal and I decied to order a case of the woodland pro Motion lotion which was four gallons. It is the very best I have tried and although they don't do free shipping on it anymore it is well worth the shipping price to me. At one time I thought they were bout all the same, but it will be motion lotion for me from now on.

Good to know. I have heard that about motion lotion before. I usually use Stihl, but am not picky about bar oil like I am about mix.

I am not guaranteeing everyone will love it because there are way to many opinions, but for me it seems just right. It's thick enough for 100 degrees and thin enough for 0.
