I'm laughing at all the bell bottoms. Day-um we were cool! My brothers were into bikes, I was a dirt track demon in a fifty-seven Chevrolet, . . . late model. Did have an 850 Norton for awhile. My brother has one now. Those tires looked a lot bigger when I was grinding all the rubber off the pegs back then!

As a fella I met in a bar in Arizona once said......."I ain't goin bald........that's just my ninety mile an hour forehead" LOL!! he was riding a maxed out Rocket 3 Beeza.........

Guess I kept my Harley and muh hair all these years.....'59 Harley Duo Glide is taking the years better than the hair color though.......she's stihl shiny and black.......th hair?...not so much....

I think I was singing dirty sea shantys to the bride in this one...LOL!!!View attachment 387010

'59' panhead, now that's a treasure. Sold my last one 5 yrs ago. It was a 2004 Heritage. Sure miss them at times, especially in the spring, but decided I was getting too old to heal if going down. Sold it and bought another wood lathe . Figured I can't fall off of that-:)

I never had a Harley, but I had Jap, English and German dirt and road bikes. Small Honda and Suzuki dirt bikes, bigger Yamaha Enduros, Suzuki GT and GS road bikes, Norton Commando, Beemer R/75. I had a pony tail in HS, and at the last PNW GTG that I went to. Its getting thin, but I still have hair. More important, I still have all my teeth and I do not need Viagra. Yet.

A million klicks on bikes? Geez... that is a lot of road. I put 35,000 miles (56,000 klicks) on my GS 750 Suzuki and that was a lot of miles. I went through 2 seats and a lot of rear tires on that bike.

It's only 600,000 miles. Sounds less if you say it that way ;-) my blackbird has 165,000 on the clock, original seat and not in bad condition but the paint has rubbed off where my legs go. It has a thirst for rear tyres :-( that's my second blackbird. Did 150,000kms in 1 year as a bike courier then gave it up. Used to do 1000km days when I was younger but I'm slowing down. Don't like to do much more than 300 in a day now if I'm just riding for fun. A lot of my kms were done on small bikes riding round Asia.
