Which clone build next MS 361 or MS 360?

If that size saw is useful to you. You might choose the 361 and when you finish the 440 swing back around and catch the 360. That will save your 290.

Why not rebuild a used, legitimate Stihl saw? That way you have something with some value when you're done.

I agree but haven't seen any I can afford to buy and rebuild. Second I'm enjoying the accomplishment. The 660 has taught me more than the few rebuilds I've done.

The ms261 sees the most time. I haven't run the 290 since the Makita came alive. Should send the 290 down the road.

You will enjoy putting it together. You learn a lot and have something to use when it over. It's all clean when you start so you can do it in a comfortable place.

I just rebuilt my 029. I will keep it another 25 years.
