You give up on the 7900?
I still maintain the 7900 is the greatest saw ever made, but for now, the 361's still my personal favorite....
Fun to run is a good criterion.
even more so when the only reason you cut is for fun

I think I may have changed my mind after last week.
I worked my 5100 pretty hard cutting 18-20'' Hedge and it did a great job, not as fast as the 7900 but I still got a lot of wood in a short time with a less weight.
I found a practically new 488 Shindaiwa that will go with my 5100 and just used the 7900 when I have to take down large trees.

Well, less scary-sounding, if not less scary-looking. Certainly are quieter than the chainsaws.
after last weekend, my 6401 with the Bailey's 84cc bb kit may have taken the crown from my 361.....
