Which wood is this?

Oh man, I used to be infamously bad at these kind of threads.
Likely still am.
Leaves would help a lot.
My guess... Ailanthus, or also known as Tree of Heaven.
Grows fast, poor quality firewood, and supposedly has a bad odor when burning.

It is opposite branching...so assuming it is a tree (native to US) it is either:
Maple (Possible)
Ash (wasn't my first guess based on the bark...but look at the bud at the bottom of the second log from the right bottom picture...but the end grain should be ring porous and the one picture of end grain isn't real clear, but it doesn't look ring porous)
Dogwood (not like any I have seen)
Buckeye (no)

Maple or Ash. Both worth burning.
