Another neat looking saw. Does anyone think it looks like a leaf blower?

I think it's that when most people hear "Remington" they think of electric razors and the like. Although I suppose the same could be said of Husqvarna and sewing machines... At any rate, the old guy I get parts from has a whole shelf or two of Remingtons. I don't know the models, but some look pretty big. I remember him pointing one old one out, and he said last year he decided to see how well it would start and run after sitting unused for years. He said it only took 4 pulls.

Sorry you feel that way. I know from past PM's that you don't stock much in the way of Remington parts. I'm sure lot of guys on here appreciate your parts knowledge. You helped Blsnelling with his latest saw project(wiz I think)

good example is the great day in va thread and the Homelite 550 repair thread about the modules and some other threads i have posted on and seem to be overlooked it hurts expecally someone who is tender hearted like i am i take things personal its like people just dont care that there is someone that has the parts they were seeking for 2 weeks and all it would of took is a phone call

I only have 1, a PL-4 and I really like it. There is an SL-11 on Craig's List not to far away but, I'm way over my saw quota. I'd hate to spend the rest of my life as a eunuch, if my wife found out.

Calvin,
I've called you several times for parts and you said you would call back if you had any of them. I never heard anything back and assumed you had none. I know things are not going well for you right now. Don't take things so personally, I know it easier said than done.

Got a deal going with m wife......get the "honey do" list done and the skies(low cloud that is!), is the limit. Better than the rest of my friends who blow most their dough in the local bar or in the casino. Give me a couple of project saws and a good radio and I can entertain myself for a week or so. HAHA

I had a pl6 that was a 94cc gorrilla of a saw and not as heavy as you would think. I just got my super 754 sorted out friday. They were only rated at 5.5 horses at 88cc but it feels like a lot more.

Hoss,
You're lowering your standards. Those are under a 100cc's.;)

I've been looking real hard for a PL-6 & 7. haven't seen or heard of one...yet.
Do you have a pic of that PL-6???

next time i have to be more patient when i get a super 754. i still have the dawgs for it.. i wasn't crazy about the spark plug access and the thought of taking it all apart and getting it back together... nice work of art.. and i'm glad they are cool runners... i guess i made someones day when i resold mine on the cheap.

You'll notice that I said "HAD" for the pl6 and I just haven't sold the 754 yet. I just wanted to make sure that it was right before I let it go. I did pick up a mac 795 (103cc) on ebay the other day that is a nice runner and will be a keeper.
