12" NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! And I thaught we got it early. Last week we got flurries for a few minutes but nothing stayed on the ground at all.

Just came in from outside. Wearing shorts and a t-shirt. 80 degrees this weekend and I live in Ohio. Maybe Florida can expect this, but not us. Wish I could trade you the weather so I could put some plow trucks and skid loaders and backhoes to work.

Kids were in shorts, and sweating my ask off cutting and splitting today. Now watch, it will be 40 this time next week...:dizzy:

Yep Winter is here too. I measured 8-9 inches yesterday am, (sat) and it has been snowing off and on all of the night. I am a betting there is at least 12 inches as off this am. Sure wish the global warming would kick in. Our neighbors, and about every other farmer still have thousands of acres of sugar beets in the ground, uh-oh! There is going to be a long line of people diaposing of all the broken branches, the trees were a turning, but still have all of thier leaves.

:jawdrop: Oh man, you're killing me with that picture. Its 75 degrees here today where Im at and we will likely have to wait another 2 months before we get any measurable snow.

Central Wis. here and we had 82 on Saturday and its still 79 at 5:30 Sunday. Way too warm for me, I was getting used to those cooler days.

Oh my!

Too early for that! I was sweating my rear off today attempting to finish up for the year. It hit about 80 here today and is still 76! It is going to cool off this week so I will be more comfortable cutting and splitting the last cord...

81* yesterday and 80* today, and this is Mi? ? Crazy! !

Cut on Fri. and again tonight. Indian summer is all fine & good, but this is a bit much. Didn't cut for long both this evening or Fri. due to squadrons of mosquitoes making attack runs on me. But the weather man is say'n 80* again tomorrow to, so I guess I'll load up the truck & trailer tomorrow night & just haul in what I've cut, should be a full cord.

ALL standing dead & well dried White Ash. Love this wood, it's great, but I HATE mosquitoes..... We've had only a couple frosts here & they weren't true killing ones, we need a good killing frost bad.

That pic sure makes me smile when I know I don't have to fill up my propane tank !!!! Thanks for sharing.
