I won a 5/8" Crane Sling Kit from gap arborist but I don’t think I’ll use them ever so if anyone wants to buy them for cheaper or trade me for equipment please reply.

Yes. I think some pictures are in order.

"5/8ths" sling sounds kind of light for "crane" work, anyway. I suspect that "rigging sling" would have been the correct term to use. I wonder if this is the splice kit in question:: https://www.gaparboristsupply.com/Teufelberger-Mark-Chisholm-Crane-Sling-Kit/item/C5600-20-00000

Quite the value to win, providing you don't mind overpaying for such products. They do look well made, with nice protective covers over the eye splices and a different kind of rope that I am not familiar with.
I'd quickly splice those three slings up from 75' of tenex rope, and I damn sure wouldn't spend $600 doing it, either. Besides. I make my slings out of 7/8ths Tenex.

seems fishy, got any pics?
people dont usually try to sell stuff online without pictures, brand, description, name, or anything like that
Hey thanks for replying and I don’t have them yet I should get them by the 4th cause they’re still in route I can send you the link which is “https://www.gaparboristsupply.com/The-Splice-Shop-Premium-5/8-Crane-Sling-Kit/item/CRASLI58MPKIT” also they’re like 600 and like the guy below said they’re expensive so I rather do a trade or sell them for a good price.

Yo thanks for clarifying but it’s actually this link “https://www.gaparboristsupply.com/The-Splice-Shop-Premium-5/8-Crane-Sling-Kit/item/CRASLI58MPKIT” I just started climbing I’m an apprentice climber and I have no really use for these I want to give them to someone who does the work unless there’s different ways to utilize them.

thats just 3 dead eye slings, would be about $100 but they added 500 for the tags
can use for portawrap slings, tying blocks on, literally anything even a short tagline

That's kind of funny. You posted a different link to the same product that I found. They are different web pages with different looking descriptions, but the specifications for each spliced sling is identical.

Good luck selling them. I don't consider that a good value, however, and would not buy them.
Working with cranes & OSHA isn't exactly my strong point, however. There very well might be an OSHA restriction against making your own splices, but ANSI Z-133 standards do not. So I believe that if I was doing a tree removal using a crane, I think an OSHA inspection would be worrying about a lot more stuff than whether the slings had tags on them.

If you plan on climbing big trees, those slings could be adapted to being a very good (but long) lanyard. Add a prussic, and climb on up. They would also double as a second tie-in rope for situations where your lanyard wasn't long enough to do the job. 5/8ths is a bit thick and heavy for most guys preference, however.

As to using them for slings? I prefer to have some adjustable eye slings. They make it a bit easier to balance a load for horizontal lifting.
