Wood boiler

hello to everyone! new to this group of fine folks..i have a question about this unit...http://www.econofurnace.com/ yall think its any good?..the price sure is right..

Fire box is not very thick. 9 gauge is less than 3/16 I think. Most wood boilers I have seen have 1/4 in. or thicker fire box. Just my opinion and everyone has one

Thanks mikenc, i belive it works out to be 5/32 of an inch..its not 1/4 inch, as most ive seen are. just thinking that if its surrounded by water, it wouldnt burn out as quick, you know like boiling water in a plastic bottle..lol..:monkey:

If it is not construted of 1/4 inch BOILER PLATE STEEL keep your money in your wallet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jawdrop:


guage thickness is misleading and if they dont use boiler plate and mention it forget it as cavitation corrosion will eat it alive.
