Have a stand of scotch pine that's getting past it's prime. Not rotted or anything. Lot of them falling. Wanted to remove the standing ones. Is this kind of pine worth milling for anything or just garbage?

I don't have any experience with scotch pine but I did a little searching. Some other folks on the web say treat it just like you would red pine, which is stronger than white pine but more prone to twisting and warping.

To me, at this stage in my game, lumber's lumber. I'm trying to put anything that doesn't have concrete on the bottom of through my mill :msp_w00t: ymmv
