Well, facebook lets me watch vids even when I'm not logged in. When you click on the link you'll first get a popup screen suggesting you login - just click the x somewhere and the popup goes away and the vid should load - at least that's what happens when I do it.
 
this has to be one of the coolest but simple designs.


The shear type make A TON of waste... like 3-4 wheelbarrow loads per cord. Forget it on dry or frozen wood, just ruins the wood.
Can see all the junk it makes in that video. Sure a stove doesn't care, but customers do.

Guy around here had a "chomper" it was sold after just a dozen or two cords.
 
What do people do with all those match sticks and pecker poles ?? Don't they ever cut any real firewood???????

I didn't pay attention to whee that video was. I spent 6 years (2 tours) in Germany. The firewood was mostly small gauge thinnings from forests. People would buy a load then a splitter and opertor would come around and split it.
