We all know parts availability via dealer varies by country/region. Having read about 084 parts apparently being NLA via some dealers in the US (http://www.arboristsite.com/showthread.php?t=160559&highlight=084+parts+ohio),i wondered about the situation over here.
Well it would appear some 084 parts are still available, cylinder with piston, Euro muffler to name a few. Crankcase and crank are NLA.
Just for a laugh i looked up some random other parts;
it would appear you can still get new top ends for 070/090/090G and crank but no crankcases.

Also you can still get 050/051/075/076 crank and 050/051, 075/076 crankcases and topends. (probably due to cut off saw equivalents)

Another, still get 08s clutch cover with handlebar, oil pump etc.

Th prices are in line with modern saws for example topends (approximate price);
084 - £400- $600
088- £350- $525
MS880/MS780- £430- $645
070/090G/MS720- £370- $554
090- £395- $593

Prices are approximate in both currencies and include 20% tax.

(I am not a dealer, so i can't import the price list, it is a pdf file... any help in doing so much appreciated!)

We can't get wrap handles etc but i wonder if we atm retain less NLA parts than you (USA)?
Interested to know situation elsewhere.

Bump.
Off topic but has anyone ever used an MS720 or MS780, what are they like to run?
