Steve (Scooterbum) has generously played the MS460 forward by donating it for another drawing. He is involved in ministries in his area, but he wanted to have the AS community support the Mission Backpack effort. Steve joins me in endorsing this project for three central reasons:

1) The beneficiaries are children who are in a difficult situation through no fault of their own,
2) There are no administrative expenses and much of the food is donated, and
3) The school principal who manages the program for the school is involved with each child on a daily basis.

You may purchase drawing chances in $10 increments:

The drawing winner will receive the MS460 that was newly purchased for the October 1st MS460 buildoff and ported by Brad Snelling. It will come with a 20" bar and chain and has a half-dozen tanks through her.

All expenses such as shipping the saw will not be taken from the proceeds.

I must receive you entry(s) by midnight, December 24th, 2011. Many of you have met my 14 year old son, Duncan, and I will have him draw the winner from all entries on Christmas morning. I hope to have the winner posted by 8:00 AM on Christmas morning.

That's just a great idea. I was thinking something similar before with the original drawing, winner gets it, runs a few tanks for fun, on to the next drawing as the prize. I'll be in for a ticket soon.

It would be nice if this got "stickied" on the top of the chainsaw page. NOT in the sticky thread, it wouldn't do as well.

Im gonna shamelessly bump this one up.

If someone can make this a sticky it would be great.I don't have enough credits.

My understanding anyone can sticky this. Just go to the "Market" up top.

Oh yeah the saw is kinda going through a major transformation right now and will be ready in about a week. Should raise a few eyebrows.....................

come on friends of AS let's get them old moldy hundreds out and put in for the drawing. i'll be sending 40.00 for 4 tickets next week and more when i get more money

more like the bubble gum you find on the bottom of your shoe. just annoying and hard to get rid of.

I haven't forgot!

I'll get mine in as soon as I can. Trying to build up my dogfood stash first, that's my primary "charity" that I have a commitment to.. Got cold weather coming and my rescue mutts got to eat a lot more in the colder weather. It takes most of the cash I make to take care of them (over 50% of my pay, put it that way). Once I have that food stash built up (dry in the shed, cheap meat from the slaughterhouse in the barn freezer), I'll send my token contribution in. It ain't much but I believe that all of God's creatures got a right to eat somehow, that's why I like the saw charity feed the kids idea, too. Two legged, four legged, don't matter, they gotta eat. I'm a farmer, I understand eatin'! hehehe and I got no idea why I am skinny either, I can eat some chow myself! hahahahah
