I've been thinking of buying a couple to put on the shelf myself.

What happened to the old one?

I aquired one from a tree faller, trashed out. Then I bought the one Steve Trexler had on here about a week ago. Really bad shape. The cylinder came off in two pieces.

Offered him his money back and to pay to ship saw back. All I can do really. I was unaware of the cylinder damage.

Well, my ms461 project is now complete. I got a p/c from my STIHL dealer but now I have two extra pistons. One new, one used.
$55 for the new OEM piston including wrist pin bearing along with STIHL rings and clips.
$40 for the used OEM piston
