Stihl identification (Yes, another one)

Could one of the resident experts help me id this saw? It was gotten from a pile of saws sold at a state dot auction. I was told it was an 044, but that was a mistake, im pretty sure. After I got most of the crud and grease scraped off I began to suspect it is something like a homeowner farm boss. I took a measure of the piston diameter by sticking my asi calibrated shish kebab skewer in the exhaust port. Looks like its a 42mm or 42.5 mm diameter piston. I wrote to stihl and provided serial number, but never heard back from them. Here's what I was able to find.

Serial number: 227837006

Inside the filter cover is the following.

1127 141 1000 US
1127 141 1001
PA66/GF

Looks like the 021 023 025 series or 029 039 series

Great info. Thanks guys. It runs if I squirt a little fuel in the carb. I'm going to rebuild the carb and see how it runs then. Now that I have the model I can get the correct parts.

Look closely at the fuel line, it likely has cracks in it.
