    Stihl MS291

The saw is yours to do as you wish. The Advice above is good and free as well. I think if you research Mastermind on UT he has 2 great videos that should help ease your skittish tendencies. What have you got to lose? A Dremel and a split arbor and various grits of emery cloth will clean the...

Building Up Dumper for Chips: What are must have features?

Wish I had been aware of that 25 years ago, I was told in Colorado by a CDL official what I replied in post #3and silly me took that POS's word for fact. Thanks for filling in the real facts.. Now at my age and stage in life I need to ponder if I need a CDL.

Building Up Dumper for Chips: What are must have features?

The Government won't allow people like me to have a CDL anymore. MONOCULAR vision is an automatic disqualification/discrimination "UNLESS YOU WORK FOR THE COUNTY or STATE". Double Standard in my Book. I lost an eye in the '70s. The USPS wouldn't hire me in the late '70's because of it...

    029 crankshaft seal replacement

Some of the saws are more challenging to get sealed off to test. I am my worst enemy if I attempt to shortcut (Skip the pressure/vacuum test) Piece of mind has a value. The 029 is an easy saw to test and repair.

    029 crankshaft seal replacement

Yes that works. BUT the simple effort using this complicated gadget is so satisfying. As long as it doesn't become a 10mm /Lost in action. I have no regrets of buying mine andnever thought I would use mine as much as I do. If your Stihl dealer doesn't charge you shipping on your order the...
