So I have a 385xp. Everything was great with it till the family ran it with low oil in the gas. Melted part of the piston and scracked the cylinder wall fairly well. So while it's down, I plan on playing a little. Everything I have read says I can get a 390xp piston and cylinder. I'm studying...

The bearing is NLA? No longer available? I want to get new bearings and a carb rebuild so I have less to worry about.

Went to the local pawn the other day and saw a 242xp. I have a 385xp, a 55 rancher, and a 142. Where would the 242 fit? I have thought of getting it and trying my hand at porting and muffler mod before I order the new top end for my 385. Any reviews or opinions are wecome!

So, as I posted a couple months back. My brother and dad ran my 385 and it locked up on them. My uncle pulled the head and the cylinder and piston are messed up. But Everthing else looks ok. Where is the best place to get the replacement parts? Also, sence she is torn apart, is there anything...
