Its wind burn. Been getting worse slowly and from the wind ward side. They don't get much tlc or water. Planted in a wind tunnel

Client not quite ready to remove/replace these. Lots of wind damage. What would you guys recommended to make them a bit better looking? Most of the damage is one sided and pruning that off would look terrible. So at a bit of a loss here. Already recommended replacement.
